Overview

Convert iPhone HEIC or HEIF photos plus PNG, JPEG, and WebP images without uploading the source file. Choose JPEG, PNG, or WebP output, review the preview, and download the converted image.

Best for

  • Converting an iPhone HEIC or HEIF photo to JPG for Windows, forms, email, or marketplace uploads.
  • Converting PNG to JPG for forms, sharing, and broad compatibility.
  • Converting JPG to PNG for editors and document workflows.
  • Converting still WebP images to JPG or PNG.
  • Keeping everyday image conversion local to the browser.

Not for

  • Live Photos, HEVC video tracks, animated image conversion, RAW files, SVG rendering, or production batches.
  • Preserving EXIF metadata, depth data, auxiliary HEIC images, embedded color profiles, or professional print fidelity.

How it works

  1. Choose one HEIC, HEIF, PNG, JPEG, or WebP image.
  2. Select JPEG, PNG, or WebP output and adjust quality when available.
  3. Review the converted preview and download the new file.

Limits and privacy

PNG, JPEG, and WebP images are limited to 20 MB and 50,000,000 pixels. HEIC and HEIF images use a stricter 15 MB and 25,000,000 pixel limit. JPEG cannot preserve transparency, so transparent pixels are placed on white. Conversion does not preserve Live Photo video, animation, EXIF metadata, depth data, auxiliary images, or professional color-management data.

Common uses

  • Convert an iPhone HEIC photo to JPG before opening it on Windows or uploading it to a form.
  • Convert a transparent PNG to a shareable JPG with a white background.
  • Convert a JPG to PNG for a PNG-only upload or editing workflow.
  • Open a downloaded WebP image in software that expects JPG or PNG.
  • Create a browser-local copy in another common image format.

Useful facts

  • Tiny Work Tools Image Converter processes the source image locally in the browser.
  • It supports HEIC and HEIF input plus still PNG, JPEG, and WebP image conversion.

FAQ

Are images uploaded?

No. Image decoding and conversion run locally in your browser after the page loads.

What happens to PNG transparency when converting to JPG?

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels are placed on a white background.

Can I convert an iPhone HEIC photo to JPG?

Yes. Choose one HEIC or HEIF image and select JPEG output. The decoder loads only when a HEIC or HEIF file is selected.

Does conversion preserve metadata or animation?

No. The converter exports a still image and does not preserve EXIF metadata, Live Photo video, depth data, auxiliary HEIC images, animation, or professional color profiles.
